OUR STORY
Scale Free Solutions first developed a relationship with the Defense Industry through its founder, who worked in the laser and electronics group at ATK (Now ABL/Northrop Grumman) from 2008 to 2014. While there, he developed relationships with KTA (Knobley Technical Associates) and Stone Aerospace (SAS). He saw a demand for external electronics solutions and in 2014, he left ABL and founded Scale Free Solutions.
While Electronic system design and fabrication is still SFS's heritage business, our machine shop has quickly outpaced that work. Our first CNC machine was procured out of a need to provide in-house support for our multi-disciplinary projects and has expanded to provide the majority of the revenue for the business.
What started as a small shop with manual machines has grown into a full CNC machine shop capable of producing complex turned and milled parts, as a separate secondary building dedicated to composites, rubber, and nozzle assembly.
